A torrential downpour this evening put paid to any thoughts of a Meadow visit for me. Fortunately Jason "Badger" Coppock had visited earlier in the day where he found the following birds:
2 Wood Sandpipers
3+ Green Sandpipers
8+ Common Sandpipers
1 Turnstone
5 Greenshank (per R.C Watts)
3 Redshank
4 Dunlin
11 Ringed Plover
1+ Golden Plover (per Clackers)
20 Snipe
1 Yellow Wagtail (juv)
